The grid below is to be used for a unique office pool that uses the last digits from the final score of every game throughout the entire tournament. There are a total of 63 games in the tournament, 67 if you count the play-in games. Each game has a winning square! At the bottom of this page, we go into further directions on running this pool. We have taken this pool even further with our College Basketball Block Pool, which redraws numbers for all 6 rounds of the tournament. If you're looking for a grid for just a single game you can use our normal 100 Square Grid.

How to run a 100 Square Pool
What??? There's another March Madness Pool? Most people think that the College Basketball Bracket is the only office pool you can run during the tournament. We like to think outside the box and come up with new creative pools to run, such as our College Basketall Tourney Props Pool and the March Madness Square pool you see above. How does the Square Pool work? The concept is the same as the Super Bowl Squares, in that you will be using the last digits of the two team's scores to find the person's name in the intersecting square. The difference being you will only be using the final score of the game, and every game in the tournament will have a winning square. If you want to run a little more advanced pool, try our College Basketball Block Pool where the numbers representing the team scores will change for each round. Step 1 Print the square grid from above and take it around to family and friends having them write their name in the square or squares of their choice. Step 2 Once all the squares are full it is time to set up the drawing. This can be done in many ways, listed below are 2 examples. After determining the drawing method, draw the numbers one at a time placing the numbers from left to right starting with the first gray square box in the top row, continue across the top row until the numbers are gone. After that is complete you will redraw the numbers, this time placing the drawn numbers in the gray square boxes in the left column, starting at the top. Example 1: Write the numbers 0-9 on pieces of paper and place them in a hat. Example 2: Get a deck of cards A through 10, the ace represents a one, the 10 represents a 0, 2-9 are face value. Here’s how it works and how to win.

What are Super Bowl squares and what is the format?

Each player gets a board that features 10 rows and 10 columns, adding up to 100 squares. One of the teams will be assigned the rows, while the other team will be assigned the columns. After that, the numbers between zero and nine are randomly chosen for each row and column, which allows for every possible score combination.

Who gets which squares depends on the pool you enter. Some pools randomly assign squares, while others auction off certain spots or allow players to buy as many squares as they want per quarter.

How do Super Bowl squares and numbers work? How do I win?

Each square has a corresponding row and column number. At the end of each quarter, players will look to see if those two numbers match the end digits of each team’s point total. For example, if the score at the end of the second is Chiefs 14, 49ers 3, then the player with the square that corresponds with four for Kansas City and three for San Francisco.

How Sports Betting Works

Which pool players are playing in determines the pay out. Some pools pay out at the end of every quarter, or the halftime or final scores could also determine who wins.
